Lee Briones-Meily
Cinematographer
Lee Briones-Meily began her career as a TV commercial cinematographer in 1996. Two years later, she shot her first feature, Jeffrey Jeturian’s Sana Pag-Ibig na (May This be Love).
Since then, she has been very much in demand as a cinematographer for both mainstream and indie films. Her work has been presented in film festivals all over the world, including Baler, which was exhibited at the MoMA during the Indio Bravo Film Festival. She has shot projects all over Asia and the United States and has won all the major film awards for cinematography granted in the Philippines. Briones-Meily is also a mother and a Reiki master. She looks forward to spending more time working in New York.
